Clare Cousins Architects

Clare Cousins Architects engages in projects large and small, in both residential and commercial spaces.

We believe that materials and space can change the experience of a place.

We love using robust materials that are appropriate for the site that will age well with time. We believe that buildings should be energy efficient, space efficient, and cost efficient.

Led by Clare Cousins, this Melbourne-based studio is known for their strategic approach and design thinking to create highly functional, delightful, sustainable environments.

Barefoot Sustainable Design

Founded by multi-award winning designer Jaye Irving, who has been flying the green banner of sustainability for nearly 20 years, Barefoot Sustainable Design works in harmony with Nature rather than defying it.

Jaye has won through the years numerous design awards in different sustainability categories, notably for a spacious straw bale house at Canungra in the Gold Coast Hinterland. That design features Asian inspired rooflines, a large open plan and Earth Render which create a stable year round climate and focuses in particular upon the intelligent and highly effective use of natural light.

Barefoot Sustainable Design is committed to creating beautiful, functional homes using naturally occurring local materials.

TS4 Architecture

TS4 Architecture creates sustainable, carbon sensitive designs for buildings combining traditional and modern materials and technologically advanced methods. A member of the Design Institute of Australia, Paul Hendy founded TS4 after winning South Australia’s Zero Carbon Challenge.

TS4 Architecture is dedicated to improving the efficiency and sustainability of both new and existing buildings while ensuring that design creativity and originality are maintained to create inspiring spaces and a suitable environment for future generations.

Living Not Beige

Living Not Beige creates sustainable housing communities by bringing stakeholders, including future residents together early in the development process. By putting people and community front and center, our projects are shaped by the diverse interests of the people who will one day live there. We talk with individuals and community groups so that our housing developments are designed to suit community members’ needs.

Housing clusters are designed and developed with reference to the natural environment and influenced by local history and culture to create a sense of place. We look at affordability and accessibility and we support low living costs through renewable energy, design for climate and water sensitive landscape.

The Sociable Weaver

The Sociable Weaver is a design and building company creating homes which are practical, economical and available at a price point that makes architecturally designed, functional, healthy and environmentally conscious homes accessible to more buyers.

Each and every single component of our houses is selected to provide the ideal balance between design intent, health, nature, environment, communities and sustainability, meaning less reliance on the planet’s resources.

4 Hearts Brewing

4 Hearts Brewing is an Ipswich-based brewery dedicated to producing craft beers with full flavour, and with no chemicals, preservatives or anything artificial. Our core range is complimented by seasonal small batch brews made only from premium local ingredients.

The first brewery to open its doors in Ipswich in over 100 years, enjoy 3 Hearts beers at our very own venue - The Pumpyard Bar and Dovetails Restaurant, serving seasonal menus from fresh, quality, local produce.

The Good Beer Co.

The Good Beer Co. is a social enterprise that produces good beers to support good causes. Ten percent from every beer sold goes directly to supporting good causes such as the Australian Marine Conservation Society and their Fight for the Great Barrier Reef, and the RSPCA Queensland to help fund their work to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home animals in need.

The Good Beer Co is committed to environmental responsibility and to producing top quality beers. We are one of the first Australian beers to implement biodegradable and marine life friendly 6-pack holders as an alternative to plastic.

The Good Beer Co is working with the Independent Brewers Association of Australia and the wider industry to pioneer approached to sustainable packaging as part of its commitment to become carbon neutral in 2019.

Storehouse

Storehouse Koonwarra and Storehouse St Kilda are artisan lifestyle stores offering unique products created by both small scale producers & iconic Australian makers. We have curated a selection of artisan homewares, furniture & clothing with rare fine art.

We believe in energetic, quality products, made for a lifetime's purposeful use and enjoyment.

The Storehouse was founded by Thomas Burge in 2014. Thomas also offers personal styling consulting, interior design, and event styling services.

Raise The Bar

So you love coffee, but hate waste? Raise The Bar is on a mission to help stop used coffee grounds from going to waste in Australia.

We take perfectly good used coffee grounds from cafes and transform them into natural skincare products with zero plastic packaging that make your skin look and feel amazing.

Stone & Wood Brewing Co

Stone & Wood is a born and raised Byron Bay independent brewery producing handcraft beers using only four ingredients - water, malt, hops and yeast (the way it should be!).

The difference between us and them is that we do it for the love of it! We're not trying to be the biggest or the best, we're trying to be good. At our breweries we focus on water, energy, and waste reduction - such as through innovative reusable cup programs at our events, to working with our suppliers to reduce our material footprint.

Stone & Wood is committed our minimising our footprint on the Earth through striving to not only reduce, reuse and recycle but also exploring innovative practices by reimagining the ecology of brewing.

Mountain Goat

Mountain Goat Beer produces naturally brewed, vegan friendly beers, free of all preservatives and additives.

At Goat, we are hell-bent on doing things smarter by reducing our impact on the environment wherever possible. We have a special waste water management system to make sure the biosolids, temperature and chemical load on our sewer system are drastically reduced. We send our leftovers to a local farmer, who has cows who love eating this spent grain.

Mountain Goat Beer are contained in cans. One important reason being their impact on the environment as cans are lighter to transport around and can be easily recycled. Our boxes, coasters, letterheads and business cards are all made from recycled paper. We proudly use Who Gives A Crap toilet paper and support The Last Straw.

Australia Draught

Australia Draught is proud to be a 100% Australian owned brewery providing full flavoured traditionally styled beer.

Australia Draught beer is brewed using all natural ingredients and absolutely no added preservatives, and comes to you on tap or in 375ml bottles.

Broo Beer
