Because We Care Australia

Because We Care Australia offers a range of certified compostable products which do not leave toxic residues behind. Their versatile assortment of shopping bags, bin liners, doggy bags and wine bags are completely compostable. Once you’re finished with them, they’ll be re-claimed by the earth in 90 days in an industrial composting facility or in 180 days in a home composting environment. Please note: Compostable plastic will not break down in landfill. They require air and moisture to properly decompose, so it’s up to you to ensure your compostable bag ends up in a composting environment.

Australian Stores

AustralianStores.com.au (formerly Fur Legged Family) started off as an online marketplace specialising in unique & often handmade products for pets. They have now opened up their website to all Aussie businesses. Everything on the site is made in Australia by small and medium businesses or by individual Aussies. Australian Stores donate 50% of profits to animal charities. In addition to supporting Australian made products, the goal is to increase awareness of the benefits of animal rescues and to channel profits to the rescue centres and volunteers that do so much great work.
