The Australian Made Australian Grown (AMAG) logo is a registered certification trade mark and can only be used on products which meet the criteria set out in Australian Consumer Law and the stringent AMAG Code of Practice.

If a product passes certification, the AMAG logo can be used to signify the product's country of origin, irrespective of whether the company is Australian owned or not.

As ownership is important to many Australians, a number of businesses choose to include the words '& owned' with the AMAG logo to emphasize that the business is Australian owned.
