Extracted from the fruit and seeds of the Rose plant, Rosehip Oil can be used as a moisturiser, as a carrier oil for aromatherapy, in massage oil blends and in nourishing hair care products.

Skin
Lightweight and easily absorbed, Rosehip Oil’s powerful healing properties can help reduce the appearance of scars and age spots as well as restore elasticity to wrinkles and stretch marks. Its soothing properties also help to relieve the symptoms of excessively dry skin.

It is suitable for all skin types (including sensitive) and is ideal for mature skin.

Hair
When used on hair, Rosehip Oil can assist in the reduction of dandruff and itchiness caused by a dry scalp.

How to Use

Skin
For use as a pure and natural moisturiser, pump a small amount onto palm and gently massage into the skin as required. Suitable for use on face and body.

Hair
Rosehip Oil may be applied to either damp or dry hair. Place 1-2 pumps onto palm, rub hands together and smooth over hair, concentrating on the ends. Use sparingly to avoid a greasy look and feel. Do not apply to hair prior to using a straightener or blow dryer.

For overnight treatment, massage onto scalp and hair, wrap hair in towel or scarf and wash out the following morning.

Carrier Oil/Aromatherapy
Dilute essential oils with carrier oils to protect your skin and for longer lasting scents. The strength of the dilution is a personal preference, we suggest starting with around 2% - 2 drops of essential oil per 5ml teaspoon of Rosehip Oil. This can then be increased or decreased as desired.

Massage
Blend Rosehip Oil with your favourite relaxing or uplifting scents. We recommend starting with a dilution of around 1-2% of essential oils (1-2 drops of essential oil per 5ml teaspoon of Rosehip Oil).

Caution: Contains oil from tree nuts. External use only. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. If irritation develops, discontinue use.
