The leather straps should start off nice and firm across the foot, as they will relax and mould to your foot with wear
The buckle should fit on the first or second hole to begin with, so that you can tighten it further as the leather relaxes
Our footwear is in a standard width of a C fitting, which is wider than the usual stander width (B fitting)
We usually recommend sizing down if you are in between sizes, unless you have a very wide foot.
