Plastic Free Vegan Dental Floss. This plastic free, biodegradable corn fibre vegan floss is packaged in a reusable glass jar, mint flavoured, and coated with candelilla wax.
The glass jar contains one 30 metre roll of vegan, zero waste dental floss. The vegan floss is packaged in cardboard. This floss is made from a corn bio-plastic, a viable natural source that quickly returns to nature and is completely biodegradable. Vegan zero waste floss is not certified compostable, however it can safely be placed in your home composting system.

PLEASE NOTE:
This vegan dental floss is slightly thicker than regular dental floss, it is not wide and flat like dental tape. Some customers who have tightly spaced teeth have found the floss does not glide easily between the teeth.

Is Vegan Dental Floss compostable?
Our Plastic Free Dental Floss is not certified compostable, however we have conducted a few “non-scientific” tests at EORTH with silk and vegan dental floss and both passed our biodegradable and compostable tests.
How do you use Vegan Dental Floss?
To get the best results from your eco-friendly vegan dental floss, cut the desired amount of biodegradable, zero waste floss from the metal container (we recommend 30-45 cm). Wind the floss around each of your middle fingers, leaving a few centimetres of floss in the centre.
Hold the dental floss tightly between your thumb and index fingers and slide it gently up and down between your teeth. It’s not recommended to force the vegan corn fibre floss as it may cut your gum tissue.
After cleaning the area, gently remove the floss using the same back and forth motion used to clean the area.
Each time you move to a new tooth/gum area to clean, use a new section of Vegan Floss that has been cut from the initial 30-45cm.
Which comes first: the brushing or the flossing? Experts say whichever order you prefer is the best way to care for your teeth. Just be sure to do both!
