Es Una's Summer Snood is our most versatile resort, sun, splash or swimwear accessory. It can be paired with your favourite Es Una Rashie Dress or with your bathers, so you can cover your shoulders when you've had enough sun. That said, you can also stash it in your bag for those days when you're out walking, boating or fishing. You'll be grateful that you have it on hand when the sun gets too hot to handle!

This multi-wear piece can be worn in so many ways; around your neck to cover your shoulders, tied up as a dress over bathers, tied around your waist like a sarong style skirt, or thread your arms through and wear it as a shrug. If you're breast feeding, you can wrap it around yourself and your baby for modesty and to protect the both of you from the sun's harmful rays.

Sizing
Our Summer Snood comes in one size. It can be worn as a shawl, shrug, or tied as a dress or a skirt. The fabric is flexible, so you can really wear it however you like!

Our models
Our models are all women who love their curves, but don't necessarily want to show them off to friends or strangers on the beach, by the pool or around the resort. They wrap their snood around them as sun protection and to give them that beach body confidence to take on Summer.

Some of our models have shared their snoods with their daughters, who happily paired them with bathers as a skirt or dress.

High tech, recycled fabric
Our fabric is 100% regenerated fibre, comprising 78% recycled nylon and 22% Xtra Life Lycra®. It has been tested by the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency, receiving an ultra violet protection factor (UPF) rating of 50+. This means it is in the 'excellent' protection category, reducing solar ultraviolet radiation (UVR) when it covers your skin. You can be confident that you're making a sun smart decision when you wear Es Una to the beach, pool or as resort wear.

One of the reasons our fabric can protect your skin is that it is a thick Lycra® to shield against sunburn and sun damage. This means that it is also less likely to cling and hug your curves in ways you'd wish it rather didn't! It's also quick drying and five times more chlorine resistant than average spandex.

Garment care
Like any swimwear garment (rashie, rash vest, rash guard, swim dress or bathers), the more careful you are with washing, the longer it will last. Your goal is to retain the fabric's original quality for as long as possible.

We recommend cold hand wash or gentle machine wash with mild detergent. Line dry out of direct sunlight. Full care instructions are on the garment label.
