Adrian Lawson designs and produces beautiful upcycled light shades with fittings, made from recycled discarded wooden blinds.
I grew up on a small remote island the West Coast of Scotland and there began my interest in recycling and upcycling. Because of the difficulty in getting things to the island, people had to constantly improvise by recycling in order to get by.
We make a range of pendant shades in different colours and timbers. Most venetians are recycled cedar slats, with plastic rinds and a suspension bracket. Diffusers are white or opaque, depending on look.
