Welcome to Airey’s Inlet Community Garden
The Airey's Inlet Community Garden runs a range of workshops, demonstrations and practical exercises to practice and share knowledge on all things to do with gardening. Composting, soil preparation, seed harvesting and propagation, planting and rotating and managing pests.
There are common garden beds or community garden beds that grow crops of vegetables such as potatoes, tomatoes and garlic. When it's time to harvest, produce is distributed to members. Private plots are also available to rent for those wishing to grow vegetables for their own use.
There is something for everyone to do whether it is weeding, digging, making a garden plot, building a shed or just making sure that newcomers feel welcome. In doing this we are growing both a garden and our community.
