Alterra provides clients with the opportunity to offset some or all of their carbon footprint. We are a registered offsets entity under the Australian Federal Government Carbon Farming Initiative.

We currently operate two projects producing Australian Carbon Credit Units (ACCUs) until December 2039 on behalf of two major energy companies.

Alterra also has four projects generating Voluntary Carbon Offsets (VCOs) for organisations seeking a partial or total carbon offset outside the Federal Carbon Farming jurisdiction.
