Ashculme Textiles is the creative vision of a mother and daughter, whose shared love for textile crafts brought them back together after 30 years of living on opposite sides of the globe.

Each unique piece has been handwoven using yarn sourced from our own tribe of Suri alpacas. The fleeces are washed, carded & spun at a local mill, before they are returned, ready for dyeing or weaving. We dye all of our own yarn, using natural dyes and rainwater.

Other yarns used for detailed work are sourced from existing supplies, op shop finds or like-minded small businesses. We uphold our values by supporting local businesses and being sustainable every step of the way.
