The Australian Wildlife Protection Council (AWPC) is a non-profit charity that aims to protect our native animals from cruelty and exploitation.

We believe that our animals are unique and special and that it is nothing but important to save and care for them.

One of our major issues is the safety of our Kangaroos. They need our support to survive in its homeland, and so our charity coordinates many campaigns to stop the commercial kangaroo killing industry.

The Australian Wildlife Protection Council (AWPC) was founded in 1969 by Arthur Queripel and incorporated in 1981. And in 1992, we have established the National Kangaroo Campaign which has grown to incorporate the wider International Community.
