    Bellfield Community Garden was initiated in 2014 by Banyule City Council, members of the now closed Ivanhoe Community Food Garden, and members of the Bellfield and Banyule community.

    The main aim of the garden was to develop an open space community fruit and vegetable garden for community members who want to engage in, and learn about, sustainable gardening practices.

Welcome to Bellfield Community Garden
Bellfield Community Garden was initiated in 2014 by Banyule City Council, members of the now closed Ivanhoe Community Food Garden, and members of the Bellfield and Banyule community.

The main aim of the garden was to develop an open space community fruit and vegetable garden for community members who want to engage in, and learn about, sustainable gardening practices.

The garden is run by volunteers, and we have 22 garden plots, 20 fruit trees and a four bay composting system.
