Welcome to Brightside Farm Sanctuary

Brightside is a registered Not for Profit Farm Sanctuary and Shelter founded by Emma Haswell. Set on 50 acres in the Tasmanian Huon Valley, Brightside rescues and re homes hundreds of animals each year.

We educate, advocate and campaign for farm and companion animals. We provide education sessions to thousands of students in schools and at Brightside each year.

A voice for the voiceless, we provide hundreds of abused and neglected animals with a permanent loving and secure home at our Sanctuary.

We specialise in the rescue and re homing of greyhounds. We also have animals for adoption including a number of rescue dogs.
