Cicada Lodge is the latest tourism venture of the Jawoyn people nestled in the natural bush high above the ancient waterways of the Katherine River system.

Our guests have the opportunity to explore the ancient and historical landscapes of Nitmiluk National Park and can tour by helicopter to tranquil waterfalls & swimming holes and can cruise or canoe down the classic and unfading Gorge system and more.

We advocate for showcasing immersive Indigenous and nature based outback adventures through sustainable and culturally sensitive business practices and it is our vision to create genuine, memorable and fun holiday experiences, sharing and sustaining the ancient cultures and history of the Jawoyn people.

Cicada Lodge is Eco Certified Ecotourism and we focus on optimal resources use while leaving minimal impact on the environment.
