Yoghurt is one of those things that seem to contain a lot of mystery for many people and yet, it is the easiest thing in the world to make. It honestly is pretty difficult to stuff it up, so give it a go. You are likely to be surprised at just how easy yoghurt is to create and how tasty your yoghurt creation is! Once you get the hang of natural yoghurt, you can easily experiment with flavours. You will need:1 litre of milk1/2 cup milk powder3 tablespoons of reasonably fresh greek or natural yoghurt Airtight containerDutch Oven or some kind of insulated container like an Easiyo Method:Heat the milk in a saucepan on medium to high heat until the milk is nearly boiled. It will be slightly frothy on top, but not bubbling. Allow the milk to cool to room temperature.Pour half the milk into a container that you can either whisk or shake. Add the milk powder. (Don't add the milk to the powder as it will stick to the bottom of the container.)Mix your yoghurt thoroughly with the other half of the milk, then put the two liquids together in an airtight container. Place the container into your Dutch Oven or Easiyo full of boiling water, or put it in the oven at 100 degrees for about 8 hours or until it is set.Photo: Shutterstock
