Welcome to Energy Rating Labelling Scheme

The Energy Rating Label allows consumers to compare the energy efficiency of domestic appliances.

In Australia, it is mandatory for appliances (such as refrigerators, freezers, clothes washers and clothes dryers) to carry the Energy Rating Label when they are offered for sale.

The label gives the appliances a star rating between one and ten stars. The greater the number of stars the higher the efficiency.

The Energy Rating Labelling Scheme has developed an App that allows consumers to check the energy rating of all possible purchases.
