Created with the makers behind the garments, front of mind.

The name Frayed comes from the idea of unravelling a garment to understand its complexity.

At Frayed we aim to unravel the stories behind each of our pieces through transparency. We hope that knowing exactly where your garment has come from and the process it went through before landing in your wardrobe, will help to restore the value we see in our clothing.

We understand the role that the fashion industry has played in the climate crisis and unethical treatment of garment workers around the world. We are committed to being a part of rebuilding the industry to positively impact the planet and its people without compromise.

OUR MATERIALS

All fabrics at Frayed are custom designed and made to the highest quality, in collaboration with skilled artisans in India. We use solely natural fibre fabrics, with consideration of resource supply and seasonal environmental and geographical factors to ensure that we are having the lowest possible impact on the planet.

Where a natural material is not available to use for accessories, such as zippers or buckles, we use quality, long lasting materials, to ensure it can be used over and over again, even past the life of the garment itself.

At Frayed we create fashion responsibly by building mutually beneficial relationships with our suppliers and manufacturers. All suppliers and manufacturers have been carefully selected to ensure their ethical and environmental sustainability standards align with ours.
