The gardens are completely community owned. Members can contribute to the gardens as a whole, or just garden their own plot and harvest fresh produce for their own table.
Garden members all enjoy the fruits of their labour.
Community gardens help people learn how to grow, harvest and prepare organic food. They play a huge role in improving the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of people and communities. Today, more than ever, communities need to work towards local resilience and sustainability and community gardens make an enormous contribution to this.
