Welcome to Healthy Seas

The Healthy Seas is a joint venture of non-governmental organizations and businesses that share a common mission: to clean the oceans and seas of marine litter such as derelict fishnets responsible for the needless death of marine animals.

Our stakeholders include divers, fisheries, NGOs, governments, communities as well as salvage, recycling and production companies, working together to achieve sustainability, in both an environmental and an economic sense.

Our volunteer divers recover fishing nets from the oceans, and The Healthy Seas help transform these nets into regenerated ECONYL® nylon yarn and create brand new products such as socks, swimwear, carpets and other textiles.

The Healthy Seas also run educational and prevention programs , and we invite everyone to be part of our initiative through donations, volunteer work, and supporting products made with ECONYL® nylon.
