Welcome to Highfield Farm and Woodland

Highfield is a small-scale farm which aims to combine ethical and sustainable farming practices with the conservation of critically endangered Box Gum Grassy Woodland. We farm only one-third of the 820 acre property. The remaining two-thirds is left as protected woodland.

We believe that farming can be part of the solution to global warming through careful grazing and by mimicking natural systems. We are doing this by transitioning to regenerative grazing and holistic organics - one paddock at a time!

Our sheep and cattle are grass-fed only, on mostly native pasture. We do not feed them grain, growth promotants or hormones.

The farm is also an eco-retreat for couples and small families. Apart from accomodation, we also offer eco tours including self-guided walk in the bush trails, farming with habitat tour, heritage tour, and bird watching.
