This homemade shampoo contains natural ingredients and does not contain sulphites, parabens and other chemicals that may impact upon the planet, or irritate your baby’s skin. 1½ cups of water¼ cup of Castile soap2 drops of Lavender essential oil
Be careful not to get it in your baby’s eyes and remember, your baby has very delicate skin, so try not to wash their hair too often.
Castile soap can be bought in large quantities online, and this will reduce your costs per wash. It can also be used to make hand soap and body wash. Ordering in bulk will also reduce the environmental impact of transporting it to your home. The lavender essential oil can be replaced for any other pure essential oil. If you are worried about the scent irritating your baby’s skin, you can simply leave the essential oil out of the shampoo.
Reuse a soap dispenser. By doing this you do not have to go out and buy another. Make sure that you wash the dispenser out thoroughly and with natural cleaning agents.
