Welcome to Keeper Denim
Keeper Denim was founded on a desire to help make a difference within the denim industry.
We were overwhelmed by the unsustainable and unethical business model of the fast fashion industry.
When you consider the low cost of fast fashion available to the western world, it’s important to realize that someone, somewhere is paying for it. Low wages, unfair workers’ rights and poor health conditions of the factory workers is the true cost of fast fashion.
Globally the environment is suffering too. Our rivers and waterways are being polluted by toxic synthetic chemicals used to grow conventional cotton, as well as the toxic dyes used in the production of most of our clothing, particularly denim.
When these chemicals come into contact with our skin (the largest organ of the human body) when we wear these clothes, they are absorbed into our body.
The impacts of these chemicals on both the environment and human health are largely untested.
So we decided to do things differently at Keeper Denim.

Our jeans are made from organic cotton, recycled polyester and elastane

Our jeans are made with recycled polyester, made from post-consumer PET plastic bottles

Sharing & Enabling
After our Kickstarter campaign is completed, going forward $5 from every pair of jeans sold will be donated to the International Elephant Project.

Conservation & Environment
Our jeans are made from high quality sustainable materials including organic cotton. No chemicals were used to fade the denim, reducing the negative impact on the environment that is caused by conventional denim.

No Exploitation
Our jeans are vegan friendly. The conventional leather label has been replaced with a vegan alternative, a unique material called Jacron.
