Welcome to Keshet

“Keshet” means rainbow in Hebrew and it truly reflects the beautiful array of colours and fabrics used to achieve our unique designs.

Based in beautiful Hobart, Tasmania, Keshet first came to fruition at the famous Salamanca Market in 2005. Since then, Keshet has opened a store front in Hobart’s Bank Arcade as well as expanding to an online and wholesale retailer.

Keshet founders, Melodie and Nimrod, travelled the world for a nearly a decade sourcing inspiration from the diverse and vibrant cultures they were blessed to experience firsthand. The spirit and character of these journeys are reflected in our super versatile designs. Melodie, our designer, sources our fabrics both vintage and new, ranging from hand-embroidered cotton through to rayon, viscose and pure silk. In addition, we print our own exclusive fabric!

Here at Keshet, our vision behind what we create is to bring a product to life which empowers people to feel fearlessly beautiful no matter their shape or size.

Keshet’s collections are designed in Tasmania and are handmade with love in India and Thailand in ethical working environments. Melodie works closely with the tailors while cutting patterns and hand selecting exclusive fabric and accessories to bring you a beautiful, comfortable and practical range of clothing to suit people of all shapes and sizes.
