Welcome to Knitting Nannas
Knitting Nannas Against Gas (KNAG) is an international disorganisation where people come together to peacefully campaign the conservation of our land, air and water for our children and grandchildren.
We knit, crochet, tatt, embroider, amd collage yellow triangles which are used as bunting for our stalls or sewn together to make an enormous yellow triangle.
We do our knit-ins at exploration and mining sites, in front of a politician's office,
the offending Company's offices, rallies and community events, flash mobs,
and wherever possible.
KNAG happily supports other anti-greed groups at their protests and meetings, or online. Knitting Nannas started in the Northern Rivers of NSW, Australia, and has now grown to become an international movement.
