The market provides an opportunity for farmers, food producers and chefs to sell farm-origin and associated gourmet food products directly to their customers.

Commencing trade in December 2007 with only eight stalls the Mt Claremont Farmers’ Market has certainly filled a niche market.

It has enjoyed great success having grown rapidly with over 45 stalls consistently attracting crowds of over 2000 people on a weekly basis.

Situated on the corner of Alfred Road and Montgomery Road, Mt Claremont Primary School is transformed into a thriving metropolis every Saturday.
