Welcome to Northey Street City Farm
Northey City Street Farm believes that we can help create an environmentally, socially and economically fair world by practicing Permaculture. Our farm provides a place for people to volunteer and learn about permaculture principles and to enhance community involvement.
We also promote biodiversity and responsible use of natural resources and conduct workshops and monthly program for homeschoolers.
We have planted more than 1500 exotic and native fruit tress, bush food plants, shrubs and ground covers on our four hectare farm site since its establishment making it perfect for everyone!
Northey Street City Farm was founded in 1994. It is located on the banks of Brisbane’s Breakfast Creek in Windsor and is a non-profit community organisation. We welcome volunteers to maintain gardens, market gardens production and aid in animal care and events.
