Welcome to OFI Australia

Orangutan Foundation International Australia (OFI Australia) is on a mission to support and continue the orangutan and forest conservation efforts initiated by Dr Birute Mary Galdikas & OFI in Kalimantan, Borneo.

OFI Australia supports a variety of programs including protection of The Orangutan Legacy Forest Region as a refuge for the wild orangutans (already forcibly evicted from much of their historical habitat by forest destruction), protection of the Tanjung Puting National Park from to keep illegal loggers and miners from degrading orangutan habitat, Wildlife Rescue, and more.
