Paintback® is taking unwanted paint and packaging’s colourful past to a brighter future, and we have some of Australia's leading paint brands involved in our recycling scheme.

Take your waste paint and packaging to any Paintback collection site nearest you.

We accept deck coatings and floor paints, primers, architectural paints, varnishes, wood coatings, sealers, and packaging. Please see our website for a complete list acceptable and not acceptable materials*.

You can bring a maximum 100 litres in volume (carried in secured containers no larger than 20 litres) per visit.

Paintback is a an independent not-for-profit organisation, offering a world-first, industry-led initiative that aims to divert unwanted paint and packaging from ending up in landfill and vital waterways. Apart from responsible disposable of waste paint, we are committed to researching innovative ways to re-purpose unwanted paint materials.

* We do not accept Aerosol Paints, anti fouling coatings, automotive paints, bagged renders, caulking compounds, colourants & tints, Isocyanates, melamine, metal 7 rust preventatives, metal coating, paint additives & thinners, paint washings, resins, roof repair, tar based products, texture coating, traffic paints, 2 component coatings.
