The POI Barcode Scanner is a mobile app (for both Apple and Android devices) which help consumers identify palm oil content in products and make them aware about the certification status used in such products.

POI (Palm Oil Investigations) is a voluntary not for profit organisation that aims to:

Raise awareness and educate about the impacts of unregulated Palm Oil production and how often it is used in every day household products.

Find, investigate and expose products that hide palm oil as an ingredient to consumers.

Educate about palm oil supply chains and usage, and campaign for truth in the labeling for all oils.

POI does not advocate anyone boycotting any products or companies, but we are hoping that consumers can make an informative and eco decision in choosing which products to purchase.
