Welcome to RAW Community Garden Brighton

The wonderful RAW Australia commenced when three women from three continents brought back their "passion for life" with a community focus and shared values.

 

RAW’s community garden is the heart of all RAW's activities and as well as providing solace and stimulation for the mind, the garden offers a sanctuary and a retreat from the turmoil that can accompany our daily life.

RAW’s approach is to return to simplicity with the aim of helping one another rediscover nature and all its gifts - to see and benefit from the abundance and beauty that nature provides us.

The RAW Garden is based on the permaculture concept, a holistic design system for developing sustainable human settlements and community food systems.  It’s a non-threatening environment open to all.
