Remove Fruit and Fruit Juice Stains

If still wet:
Stretch the fabric right side down over a sink or bowl and secure with clothes pegs or elastic band.
Pour through the hottest water that is safe for the fabric from the back of the stain from as high as possible.

For dry stains:
Soak in a 50/50 warm water/glycerine mixture for 1 hour. (This works well for woollens particularly.)
If the stain is stubborn, colour test and sponge on a 50/50 white vinegar/water mixture, then rinse and leave to dry in the sun.

Non-washable fabrics:
Sponge non-washable fabrics with cold water. If the stain persists, mix 3 parts borax to 1 part water and spread the paste on the stain.

For carpets
Soak stain with soda water and rinse. Alternatively, mix a paste of 3 parts borax to 1 part water and rub into the stained area. Leave to dry and then vacuum off.
