There are a number of different types of reusable baby wipes available in Australia. You can choose from a variety of materials including bamboo, terry cloth and fleece. There are neutral, bright and patterned baby wipes available from various manufacturers. Store the clean wipes in a plastic container filled with water. You may like to add a couple of drops of your favourite essential oil to give the wipes a nice fragrance. Keep them near to your nappy change area, and use as you would a disposable wipe.Store the dirty wipes together. If you use modern cloth nappies, it makes sense to add the dirty wipes to your nappy wash. If not, you can add the wipes to a clothes wash instead. You will ideally need between 20 and 40 wipes, and can save money by buying in bulk. This initial investment will last you until you no longer need to use baby wipes anymore.

By choosing a washable option, you still have the issue of cotton production in the initial making of your wipes, but typically you would simply add your dirty wipes to a wash you were already doing.
