From small things, big things grow! From a pandemic start up to a truly thriving business, Lena's journey with Salts & Spice Co. has certainly been anything but boring.

I grew up in the kitchen - I was always hanging around observing. I had my own Fisher Price Play Kitchen and I absolutely adored that thing!

I love to create and cook (and I also love giving gifts!) I started playing around with salt blends about 4 years ago and gave them to friends as gifts.

One summer night, sitting around the table after one -too many wines with some wonderful friends, we started discussing the salt blends & how they would make really good presents.

With a big push of encouragement from my adoring husband, Salts & Spice Co. was born. My launch date was August 1st 2020 I was probably ready to launch about 6 months prior - but I wanted every aspect of my business to be perfect!

This is also why this website took so long to create!

We live on a little hobby farm in Wangaratta, NE Victoria. My products are made in small batches on site in my little salt cave, I use as much home grown herbs, lemons, oranges & bay leaf as possible.
