Every time you have a coffee, meal, order catering, an event or buy our products you help STREAT offer disadvantaged youth a supported pathway from the street to a sustainable livelihood.

STREAT is a hospitality-based social enterprise that provides supported vocational training and holistic personal support to young people aged 16-24 who really need a hand.

We want our young people to feel a sense of belonging at STREAT, and know deeply that we’re here to help them achieve a healthy self, healthy job and a healthy home.

Apart from helping disadvantaged youths, STREAT is committed to minimising our environmental footprint in every way possible.

Our food is hand-made fresh each day and where possible is local, seasonal, organic, fair-trade and preservative and cruelty free. We love working with local suppliers who love their produce as much as we do. We use fully biodegradable Biopak for food packaging and our catering company uses biodegradable platters. For our printing we use Australia’s leading environmental printer, Finsbury Green, a carbon neutral local printer.

STREAT’s head office is run by 100% renewable energy and we use energy efficient appliances for fit outs. We strive to minimise wastage and use environmentally-friendly cleaning chemicals. Our new Cromwell site will have a very large solar panel array right across its roof and onsite composting and worm farms.
