Welcome to Sustainable House Day

Sustainable House Day is a non-profit organisation that provides a great opportunity for hundreds of thousands of people to visit leading homes in Australia that are not limited to being environmentally friendly alone, but more economical to manage and more comfortable to live in.

Our organisation is an event of the Alternative Technology Association that inspires people to live sustainably in their respective homes and communities. The ATA also produces the high-quality magazines, "Sanctuary: Modern Green Homes" and "ReNew: Technology for a Sustainable Future."

Sustainable House Day has been serving for more than 15 years and the Alternative Technology Association was established in 1980.

We are committed to providing expert and independent advice on sustainable solutions everyone - homes, government and industry.
