Textile Beat is a social enterprise that provides strategic communications services and workshops that focus on sustainable living.
We also promote a creative approach to ethical ways of dressing that do not endanger our planet and of course, our people. We encourage our community to buy less, choose natural fibres, avoid garments with toxic dyes, stay away from cheap fashion and buy ethical brands.
Textile Beat is owned by Jane Milburn and is an agricultural scientist.
My model includes empowering everyone to rethink, reimagine and recreate their own wardrobe and I am dedicated to bringing awareness to where clothes come from and from which resources they are made.
