Welcome to The Compost Revolution

The Compost Revolution is an initiative of the Randwick City Council, Waverley Council and Woollahra Municipal Council.

We are on a mission to make it easy for Australians to turn food scraps into rich soil and liquid fertiliser at home and at the same time, to reduce the amount of rubbish we send to landfill.

About half of what the average Australian household throws everyday is compostable organic material (food scraps).

When you use home composting systems, you significantly reduce the amount of stuff sent to landfill.

This reduction also has a big impact on climate change because food waste in landfill releases harmful greenhouse gases as it breaks down.

We are now partnering with over 40 councils across Australia and always on the look out for more council partners, so feel free to contact us.

If you are a resident, you can choose your compostor - bin, worm or bokashi and have it delivered straight to their door.

Developed by councils who understand waste, over the last 4 years the Compost Revolution has grown to become Australia's largest community of composters and worm farmers, diverting over 3 million kgs of waste from landfill.
