Our journey began when two environmentally-conscious best friends, Nat & Ruby, became housemates. Some might think that moving in with a friend is a recipe for disaster, but we were two peas in a - ahem - Pod, proving all the skeptics completely and utterly wrong.
We shared a deep-rooted passion for sustainability and after a few months of living together, we grew horrified at how much waste we were producing. From plastic shampoo bottles to plastic soap dispensers being thrown out week after week, the plastic waste permeated every crevice of our bathroom…and our trash.
