If you can meet these initial criteria, please read on. If your company is not yet established please contact us again in the future and we will be happy to help you.

Accreditation faqs can be found on our website.

To become an accredited cruelty-free company with CCF, you must fill in the Questionnaire & Application for Accreditation (Q&A), including a legally binding contract.

If you use a contract manufacturer to make some or all of your products and they are not on our list of accredited manufacturers, they too are required to complete a Q&A in support of your application. Your manufacturer need only complete the forms as they relate to the products they make for you.

If the application is successful, your company receives for the duration of your accreditation a complimentary listing on our website, in the printed CCF List booklet, in CCF’s free iPhone/Android App, one announcement via our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts, and listing in the monthly CCF eUpdate. CCF produces and distributes all materials to the public free of charge.

As a non-profit organisation CCF charges a one-off administrative fee of AUD$100 to cover the costs we incur during the accreditation process. This fee is payable on submission of a completed Q&A. There is no fee for your contract manufacturer.

Companies on the CCF List are regularly asked to undergo re-accreditation to ensure that they still comply with CCF’s criteria for accreditation. There is no fee for re-accreditation.

Once accredited, companies may opt to take out a License to use the Rabbit Logo for an annual fee. There is no obligation to take out a License.

The Not Tested on Animals Rabbit Logo is a registered trade mark and may only be used by accredited companies that have taken out a license and paid the annual license fee.

Choose Cruelty Free (CCF) can’t accredit “mixed-brand” retail or online stores or brand distributors. We accredit the entire company, rather than individual brands or products.

Applications for accreditation must be made by the owner/Director of a company. CCF Accreditation is not transferable and if a CCF-accredited business is sold, the company is removed from the CCF List while the new owner is invited to apply for accreditation.
