Raw Society Hair

Raw Society Hair creates beautiful hair extensions made from parts of the banana plant that are removed during harvest and would normally be treated as a waste product. By using it to create hair extensions it provides the farmers with extra income and saves land space. Banana trees have one of the largest leaves in the world, enabling them to photosynthesise at a high rate which is vital for our planet. Choosing Raw Society Hair helps prevent damage to our waterways and oceans, protect species diversity and combat climate change. It is biodegradable; it can be recycled into other products once you are finished with it, such as textile/fabric, paper, etc., and can be completely decomposed in the soil by microorganisms and sunlight without decomposing into any pollutants.

Tin Dragon Alpaca Fibre

Tin Dragon Alpaca Fibre is a small family business located in North East Tasmania that processes their own alpaca fleeces. Their alpacas are free ranging and do not wear coats. Fleeces from their small alpaca herd are gathered, hand-washed, opened and carded. The end-product is a continuous sliver or roving, which is ready for hand-spinning or felting. The fibre or the wool is hand-washed in rain-water with mild detergent only and is sun-dried. The hot water used for the wash is electrically heated using micro-hydro and solar PV generated on site. The small volumes of wash-water are handled organically on their property.

Denz

Denz is a husband and wife team, Kate & Luke, who creates enamel and recycled steel earrings and wall hangings. Although they are inspired by current design trends, Kate's work is timeless. Her goal is to create pieces that withstand the tests of time, rising up against the current throwaway culture in our fashion industry.  All pieces are handcrafted in a studio in the Noosa Hinterland. The copper is cut by hand, so every piece is different. The multiple layers of enamel glass are fused to the copper in a kiln, giving them depth and warmth. The recycled steel earrings are made in Australia from Kate's drawings and are plated in Melbourne.

Neutrog

Neutrog’s name was born from the combination of ‘nutrients’ and ‘organics’ to accurately reflect the true nature of the products manufactured, which is a range of ACO-certified organic products, along with specialist organic-based, chemically-boosted fertilisers, liquid probiotics and their signature supermulch - Whoflungdung. Established in 1988, Neutrog is based at Kanmantoo, South East Adelaide, and is proud to be a 100% Australian business.

Glen Torie Pastures

Glen Torrie Pastures is a family-based farm located in the North West of Tasmania, just outside of Wynyard, where they breed and raise black Angus cattle. Their pastures are about feeding the earthworms and dung beetles as much as they are about feeding their cows, they should be rich and full of life, supporting our health and the environment. For the last 16 years working on soil health, animal quality and building resilient farms through soil and natural resource management, Glen Torrie Pastures have grown and built a product they are immensely proud to be able to share with others. When you buy their beef boxes you are helping them continue to produce ethical, environmental, and regenerative farm practices.
