Ethicool

Founded in 2020 by Australian husband and wife team, Teigan Margetts and Stuart French, Ethicool creates remarkable children’s books about the world’s big issues, inspiring kids to create positive change. Ethicool partners with the world’s most talented authors and illustrators to create books that are not just meaningful, but truly beautiful to read and stunning to look at. Their books are printed using recycled or sustainably-sourced papers, as well as soy-based inks, and shipped using recyclable or compostable packaging.

912 Organics

912 Organics is an urban farm in the Blue Mountains growing premium mushroom and medicinal mushrooms. Founded by Chef Mate Herceg, who has always had a passion for food and sustainability, the farm produces the highest grade mushrooms free from chemicals and re-purposes spent coffee grounds which reduces waste and minimises impact to the earth.

Out of the Pouch

Out of the Pouch is an organic business, spiralling from a centre of deep love for the world and for art as a way of being in the world. Natural, recycled and upcycled materials care for our planet and are central to Out of the Pouch.  Artist, Elisabeth Kulugitago, works with textile and other mediums on her journey. Art works are available for purchase and she is glad to work with you on commissions - such as gathering clay from land you love and wrapping it in an ancient netted stitch to hold it dear.

MTNS ECO

MTNS ECO is a not-for-profit community project that lists businesses, organisations, services and groups in the Blue Mountains that hold sustainability as a core value. MTNS ECO aims to give the Blue Mountains community easy access to useful, independently sourced information that helps people make sustainable living decisions.

Hello Little Weed

Hello Little Weed offers Edible Weed Walks, talks, workshops and books written by author and speaker, Doris Pozzi. Their Edible Weed Walks can be found in Melbourne and the Yarra Valley, as well as happening now and then in locations throughout Australia.

Prae Store

Prae is a boutique retail store offering luxurious, coveted essentials within the active, beauty, wellness and lifestyle space. The company works with brands that share their love and passion for sustainability, which is one of the core foundations of Prae. Each product within their brand offers a sustainable touch point, whether it’s the packaging, the ingredients or the process. You can rest easy knowing that your Prae purchase is not only good for the planet, but good for you, too. If you’re shopping with us online, your order will be packaged using only recyclable elements, including a compostable satchel, and paper wrapping and tape.

Kaiyu Superfoods

Kaiyu Superfoods specializes in Australian native foods and teas. All their fruit is grown, processed and packed in Australia and where possible sourced locally. Kaiyu works with communities that wild harvest fruits sustainably, (making sure a percentage is left for native animals and natural regeneration of the plants).

Brush It On

Brush It On offers bath & home products that give back to the planet rather than taking from it. Every single Brush It On product you buy directly supports a conservation project of your choice. They take the war on plastic seriously and that’s why 100% of their profits go directly to organisations that protect the planet’s oceans, forests, and wildlife.

A.Vogel

A.Vogel develops and produces a range of remedies made from plant extracts (phyto-products) and herbal medicinal products made using fresh plants. A.Vogel products are manufactured using methods that are as close to nature as possible. At the heart of their activities is a sustainable approach to natural resources such as the use of certified organic raw material grown in healthy soil, and the use of extracts from freshly harvested plants wherever possible.

Greencane Paper

Greencane toilet paper, tissues and paper towels are made from fast-growing bamboo and recycled sugarcane, which means the softwood forests that are used in traditional paper products are freed up to be used in more productive areas like building homes. Greencane Paper products are GMO and BPA free. No inks, chlorine bleach, fragrances are used and packaging is 100% plastic free.
