About the UN SDGS

There are 17 UN SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) and they came into effect in January 2016 as a universal call to action by the UN to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity as well as address climate change, economic inequality, innovation, sustainable consumption, peace and justice.

Achieving the SDGs requires the collaboration and partnership of governments, private sector, civil society and all of us to make sure we leave a better planet for future generations.
