The Sustainable Top 100 Destinations competition is organised by Green Destinations to showcase sustainable tourism stories and good practices of destinations, as inspiring examples to others, to tour operators and to travellers.
Green Destinations is a non-profit foundation for sustainable destination development and recognition, leading a global Partnership of representatives, expert organisations and academic institutions.
The list of five represents the highest number of destinations to be included from the Australia/ Pacific region and all are working with Ecotourism Australia, who work closely with destinations to develop our responsible, sustainable tourism industry and a whole-of-destination approach.
