Bōba Bubble Tea in Crowdfund Countdown on Kickstarter

If you love drinking bubble tea, but the plastic that comes with each and every cup is doing your head in, check out Bōba on Kickstarter

Bec Brodie is a tea obsessed mum of 4 year old twins, who works full time as a UI / UX designer in the OTT video streaming industry. She started Tea is Life (a minimal tea accessories store) as a side hustle in her "spare" time. Which is how she ended up on Kickstarter after developing a reusable for bubble tea in the size and shape she wanted. Bec says:

"I TRIED SEARCHING FOR A REUSABLE BUBBLE TEA CUP BUT THE LIMITED FEW ALREADY ON THE MARKET WERE JUST NOT RIGHT.

I PREFER A SMALLER SIZE BUBBLE TEA BUT NO ONE WAS DOING A 500ML CUP, AND ALSO OTHER LIDS ON THE MARKET ARE PRONE TO RUSTING IF YOU DON'T DRY THEM THOROUGHLY AFTER EACH USE - SO I DECIDED TO SEE IF I COULD CREATE MY OWN CUP, AT THE CAPACITY I WANTED WITH A LID THAT WOULD NEVER RUST. AND THAT'S HOW I'VE LANDED UP ON KICKSTARTER."

Bōba cups are made from glass, aluminium, and silicone. Nothing else. Our packaging is made from 100% recycled materials (and we encourage people to repurpose it), and our Bōba bags are made from organic cotton calico. The entire product is 100% recyclable.

Bōba cup was designed for bubble tea, but they're also great for smoothies & juices.  If you are buying a cup for your little one or just prefer silicone straw, message them after pledging and they will add one to your order.
