Led by James Grugeon from The Good Beer Co, right now you can buy #AGoodBeerAlwaysHelps for an essential services worker on Pozible. Actually, you have to buy a minimum of 4, which seems fair enough to me, all things considered. Maybe 24 would be better. The crowdfund looks set to easily hit its target, but at an average cost of $5 a beer and at least 500,000 essential services workers in Australia, the $10,000 target could accomodate a couple more zeros! You can purchase Alcoholic or Non Alcoholic beer and it will be delivered to essential workers by Sendle. All beers come from Craft Breweries around Australia:
Head to Pozible for all the details - to both buy a beer and register as an Essential Services Worker who would like a beer. It's easy to buy or register. Buying a pack of 4 beers for $20 covers the costs incurred to brew, pack and deliver the beer and message to an essential services worker. The Good Beer Co, Pozible and the independent craft breweries are not making any profit from this initiative.
‘A Good Beer Always Helps’ will also support independent craft breweries in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia, Western Australia and the ACT - many of whom are doing it tough right now after social distancing regulations meant they had to close their taprooms and bars. The campaign is also supporting Australian craft beer legends, The Crafty Pint and their #keeplocalalive initiative, helping keep our Australian beer, hospitality and events industries alive by showing you how to support them through online sales, home deliveries and more.
This excellent initiative is supported by The Good Beer Co, who brew and sell beer to raise funds and support good causes like Great Barrier Beer for the Australian Marine Conservation Society, Love Beer for the Australian Marriage Equality Campaign and Pale Tail for RSPCA Queensland.Cheers!
