Wash Timber Floors with Eucalyptus Oil

A small amount of Eucalyptus oil goes a long way - smell and application. And none more so than when cleaning floors

Here's what you need:

  • 2 Capfuls of Eucalyptus Oil
  • Bucket of Water
  • Mop or old rag

Sweep or vacuum the floors to remove any surface dirt or larger debris. Add the Eucalyptus oil to the bucket of water, then either use a mop or a rag to wash your timber floors.

This cleaning method is great for cleaning and deodorising and leaves the house smelling fresh and clean. Not only is it a fantastic cleaner, getting rid of all spots and stains, but it deodorises the house wonderfully!

Cleaning with eucalyptus oil is a safe and natural alternative to commercial cleaners. This natural cleaner is gentle on both the user and the environment and does not contain any harsh chemicals.

Eucalyptus Oils are comprised of more than 100 different natural compounds. The active ingredient is 1,8-crineole (Eucalyptol), which is 70% or more of Eucalyptus Oil. It also contains alpha and beta pinene, phellandrene, limonene, camphor and sabinene.

A few drops of eucalyptus oil is also an excellent surface cleaner for bathroom surfaces as it deodorises, degreases and cleans as you go.
